These fish flashers are perfect for Great Lakes salmon and trout, mimicking distressed baitfish with lifelike action and tight rotations at 1.5 to 4 mph. Its strong vibrations and durable build trigger aggressive strikes.

How Capt. John fished it

• Matched pairs on divers: left-turning on the port diver, right-turning on the starboard diver.
• Fly leader length: about 2–2.5× the flasher length. 10" BTI: 16" for spring Coho, 20–25" for summer Kings. 12" flasher: 36–42".
• Early season: whites and chrome (White Lightning, Silver Bullet) work until mid-July and all season long.
• Red works deep: John's 2009 catches were built on red patterns 60–150' down.
